Bubble Bee Tea House

I am a regular at bubble bee and am very disappointed at the owners management as of today. A barista Dominic was fired because he was taking lunch breaks which are legally required when working over 5 hours, and he worked by himself open to close 5 to 6 days a week. He knew my drink by heart and called it the “daisy special” he was friendly to all customers and I see other reviews on here complementing him. One bad review saying the store was closed when a customer was showing up made the owner fire him, he should be on his employees side. Firing someone because they took a break is unethical. Bubble bee became a place I could hangout and Dominic became someone I would like to call a friend. He worked well over 40+ hours a week. I wonder if he was even paid for overtime....

Over all okay. Not al dente, so a little too soft and slimy for my taste. The bubble coffee was okay in flavor, but much too watered down and sweet.

Love love love this place. Best bubble/ bolba drinks around! So creamy and the tapioca is cooked just right. There menu changes slowly and exspands. It seems like they're always adding some new addition everytime I go, (which isn't very often) so that's a good thing. Menu is easy to order from and understand even if you've never been before. Lots to choose from without being overwhelming. Staff is always helpful and polite, a bit slow on some visits but they seem understaffed then and it's completely understandable. Cute store with plenty of comfortable seating, and little puzzles on many of the table to tinker with. I recommend the melon drink if you go. Hands down my favorite.
